I've used a lot of robot vacuums, and this is the best I've tried by quite a bit. Maintenance is a lot cleaner/nicer than some other brands, the path finding is great, super slim and goes under more furniture, and the ozone water stops the dirty water tank from stinking. I love it.

    • How does it go with the "power cord" problem. I've had an old Roomba and now a Roborock S5 Max, and they're great. But the bloody things always kill themselves when the powercord gets stuck between the side brush and the unit (so it's held captive by that).

      • It’s great, with my old Robovac I had no go zones where we have cords. I don’t have a single no go zone with the Eufy and it’s never gotten caught on a cord. It just works around them. It knows the cords are there and even shows them on the map.

    Review

Robovac wars no.2 is a pretty good title

Got one from good guys using the commercial quote at $1800. Highly recommended for mopping. It washes mop as it rolls instead of smearing.

  • May not be a direct question but for mopping this or Tineco S6 pro? I know two completely different products (With one providing ease of automation and everything) but can anybody comment which has better cleaning

    • +1

Robot wars on YouTube did a recent video on the best robot vacuums and they said this and a couple of others had a better test result then the tineco for mopping performance.

  • Yeah, this is good. It doesn't do it on auto but can climb a 3cm rug when asked to zone clean. Great mop too.

This is on my short list, but vacuum performance isn't that great. It doesn't clean the corners and edges well either.
Mopping wise it's probably the best.

    $1799 on Amazon now https://www.amazon.com.au/Station-Suction-Obstacle-Avoidance…

Now sure about the warranty though.

These third party Amazon sellers I find quite difficult to deal with Amazon for warranty - they try and deny/fob you off to the third party. If it was Amazon au as the seller, I’d be jumping on it

  • i have ecovacs x2 omni and Roborock S2, both has its own issues, but I wouldnt touch Ecovacs again ever, today it's returned from service station. Its a pain.

  • Anyone know how these go with different areas/maps - eg split level home and me carrying to different areas given the stairs ? Is there a model of robot vac better for this type of situation ?

    • I have the X10 Pro and have just purchased this as its replacement. With the X10 I have move the whole unit between floors as it returns to the base station several times throughout the clean. I can’t see the S1 being any better as it looks like it will return to the base station several times throughout the clean also. Having split levels is always going to be a problem for these kinds of appliances and something that we will have to get used to.

I’m a very happy X10 owner and hoping that the S10 lives up to my expectations with cleaning my wooden floor more thoroughly

      • Did the X10 break? or are you just selling and upgrading?
X10 Pro Omni is only $1184 on TGGC, which intrigued me from value perspective whilst getting 90% of the features and performance of $2k vacuums.

      • would love to know your experience as well whether it is worth the extra money as while I like all the features, and the promised of mopping using the roller, it is still a lot of money for S1. It is a steep upgrade from my Roborock S5.

Extra 20% off through "RETURN20" discount code applied at checkout on the already discounted Eufy S1 Pro

Alternatively, I got the TGG to price match them (JB wouldn't) as good buyz look like they have dodgy after sales support. Call TGG on 1300 942 765.

Had gone with the Dreame l10s Pro Heat Ultra for $1179 during BF sale but I'm going to return that as the S1 looks like the absolute best option for mopping (less so vacuuming) and we've mainly got hardfloors

    • +1

Yeah I went the s1 for similar reasons: we only have hard floors.
