    Really nice app. Well done!

  • Reading the marketing spiel it looks interesting

    New app. Version 1.01

No reviews in play store. Not sure where all the reviews on the site come from

    I'll give it a go

Not sure why your comment is downvoted, but clearly you've committed a grave sin somehow and should delete your comment.

        • Yes i don't understand why people downvote sometimes. I shared a discounted items recently and someone didn't like the brand so downvoted it. Not for any real reason. It was still a heavily discounted item. Like this, it's free, It's a bargain.

How do you confirm the lifetime sub? It just says 'code applied', so we can assume lifetime?

    • guessing lifetime for the install, newdevice = no lifetime

i downloaded it… what do i use this app for now? or does it go unused lol

    • maybe for future home reno project?

    • Hire a project manager and let them sort it out

      • i actually need to do a bathroom reno! whilst i have the small ensuite and bathroom/toilet in the world for sydney standards (in a house lol) i'm nervous this is going to at least cost me 30k minimum to do gosh

        • ok so i'm a former project manager. It's basically a glorified manager role.

You hire people. You manage the available budget. You manage the timing of it all so that people do their work at the right times and things are in order when they come in etc.

I would think that the tradies would have their own project manager to manage the work so that it is completed within budget and meets the deadline, but I haven't got any experiences with them.

Released in the 24th and has thousands of reviews on the home page and 248 5* reviews within 6 days.

    But only 1,000 downloads..

I'm sure it's fine, but clearly paid reviews system to try and smash the growth.

Also the app page has no mention of pricing ANYWHERE, then as soon as you open the app you're hit with a recurring payment / subscription prompt.
All very sketchy, not convinced there's any genuine offer here.

  • Do you make these apps yourself or you have a team of developers?

    • +3

I make them myself, during my free time in the evenings.

Yes I’m gonna get downvoted but I don’t really see the point. The iOS notes app does all of this

Google Tasks as well, or Google Keep even?

  • +1

I am really impressed with your design and I am sure you will make it better over time.
Lots of great ideas in your apps and it’s clear you developed them to use them yourself.

As a retired developer, have only one suggestion for you and that is about your marketing strategy. A subscription model and $50 lifetime price tag doesn’t make me feel that I would jump on that over some other free similar apps from giants in the market.

I really miss those early days of app store that all apps were one time pay for each version and all below $10.

All the best and well done mate.

  • Interesting app that has features that aren’t available in stock standard iOS. I like the pomodoro timer, colour coding, and the nesting organisation of the projects and tasks. Is that a time tracker also integrated that i see on my task list?

It reminds me very much like the old days of managing a big work project on spread sheets or ms project, but simplified with the most important things there for my personal home projects. And with a couple of extra innovations. Nice one

how does a free license work?

is the license tied to an account, or will we no longer have access when removing the app or installing to a new device

i've applied code but haven't registered for an account currently showing as guest

    • +2

If you do not create an account, all your data is stored only locally on your phone and will be lost if you delete the app. Only by creating an account is the data and Prime status stored on cloud for future access.

  • Add, modify Email (and calendar) without owner's knowledge permission.Hmmm that's a big leap in trust.
