Imagine spending $43 for a… watch charger

People have been spending more on automatic watch winders for a far longer period.

    • I could say the same to you based on your posts. Imagine spending $49 on a mouse? But I won't because I can understand people value different things. I am happy with a $5 mouse, I doubt you would be. Whereas assuming you have smartwatch, you would be happy with the free one that comes with it. I wouldn't because I value the watch more because its important for my health and fitness so I would be willing to spend hundreds to ensure I have the best charger, protective casing, etc. for it. You also spent over a $1000 on a TV. That's cool for most people but as someone happy watching on my phone or tablet, I wouldn't. I would however be willing to spend $2000 on a phone. Hope you get the point.

The point is moot. There’s a trend to overpay for basic accessories because they’re affiliated with apple.

Buying a Tv or a mouse discounted is totally different to buying a way overpriced accessory. How is that the same lol

  • I’m just confused why Belkin called this a “portable” charger when it doesn’t seem to have a power bank inside.

maybe because it’s compact? but then the surrounding plastic makes it seem similar size to your typical wireless charger which isn’t described or named as “portable”.

so by “portable” they mean you can throw it in your bag. 💁‍♀️
also it could be more clear I assumed it’s just a moulded plastic mount and the user needs to byo Apple watch charger and push it in the middle. which lowers its value.
