Do these smell nice or strong and chemically?

    • Imo these smell much nicer than the little trees the California scents as well as the ambi pure which you can't smell after a few days. Because it attaches to the vent turning the AC on spreads it throughout the car. When AC is off, it's not as noticeable. it's REALLY noticeable, gets a little too intense if the vent is facing you directly with the heat on. So far it's the longest lasting one I've come across that still works after a week.

      • Cheers! What scent do you recommend?

        • Sky Breeze & NZ Springs are both really good, haven't tried the mould fighter version.

  • Mould one is on clearance at supercheap for $2

    • Only one store in Victoria has it in stock.

air freshers like this are a waste of money

    i just use these https://www.woolworths.com.au/shop/productdetails/692484/duc…

Stick it on a clean surface and they last for weeks. very strong smell too.

    • Really?

it works so much better then the car airfreshners.

i just get ones that dont smell like typical bathroom scents.

        • Except for it only lasting weeks..

@Supercool: It is 6 discs. If each one lasted weeks, it would still be a lot more than "up to 30 days" with the ambi pur ones collectively for effectively the same price.

I'm not gonna knock it until I tried it myself. I'm intrigued.

@Supercool: Once they go a bit dry you can 'recharge' them by licking them. Boom, another couple of weeks of freshness.

@Supercool: it last for weeks during winter.

who knows doing summer prob dry out quicker

    • Got in cupboard. Will try.

    • I think this will last for a year.

  • Nice just in time for summer

This style seems more cost effective. So I grabbed this + refils

    • Cost effective? Yes. As good? No. Tried both. Love the mini clips but they dont last as long as claimed if you drive more than 6-7 hours with AC on.

      • So are you saying the mini clips are better or worse?

        • If you can afford and want your car to smell better go for mini clips. If you want affordability and a bit compromised scent go for the refil bottles

          • @BitSlap: Right fair. TBH I don't want a strong smell anyways and my Partner always complained about the small ones, a bit of odor neutralization fine by me so sounds like it's a good choice for me.
