I personally don't have experience with it, but I've read on forums that people swear by Thermacell products, eg. EX90

  • this is annoying

Counts as a 'hazardous material' so delivery services like auspost don't touch that sort of thing because of their safety policies or whatever. Same price at woolies though.

  • We use First Force Multi Purpose Insect Killer Spray from Woolies. Cheap and works just fine.

    • Because they are outdoor and you can't kill them all.

  • Just use soap water..

Can confirm this does not work for roaches (the black ones are better)

    • confirm by the type as well.it says fly and mosquito.

  • Isn’t ALDI one is cheaper n better?

    • I find it is really good, although very rarely I get a dud that kills nothing no matter how many sprays. I take it back and replace….like the ingredient needed to actually kill them is missing altogether

Mortein is really expensive, you are just paying for the brand. Get the generic sprays from Coles, WW or Aldi which is cheaper.

    • +1

Not from my experience. I got the generic Coles branded one and it takes 5 mins to immobilise a roach which then it could have ran into dark corner already. Whereas the Mortein Powerguard immobilises a roach in one spray (10 seconds).

There are somethings i am happy to buy cheap but not an insecticide.

    • The nozzles are frequently useless on those in my experience. Will stick to the brand names from now on so I can actually use the entire can
