4 Custom Shirts $350 (Save up to $206 off RRP) + $39 Delivery (Free with $1200+ order) @ InStitchu

130

I know everybody has their own favourites for business/dress shirts but this looks like a pretty decent offer for made to measure if you're near an Institchu showroom.

The offer gets you a gift card code for this offer which can be used for up to 12 months.

It is only valid for shirts with up to $139 RRP each so maximum savings here is $206, but $60 odd for a MTM shirt is still good particularly if you're an odd size and have to pay for tailoring anyway.

“$60 odd”? Isn’t it more like “$90 odd”?

~$60 odd savings per shirt. Which makes it sound better than $90 per shirt.

    Delivery in Australia

There is free delivery to Australia for orders of $1200 or more. If your order is less than $1200 delivery costs $39. We use both couriers and Australia Post for deliveries in Australia, and we will choose the best delivery method to get your order to you as quickly as possible.

    This is ridiculous lol

Institchu isn't worth dealing with at all, you're much better off just going to a local tailor. It would be better made, higher quality and cheaper.

Their "showrooms" and "tailors" are just salesman who were given a step by step instruction on how to use a tape measure they don't even measure you properly and just try to upsale you.

Waste of time and effort going back and forth only to end up going to a proper tailer to get stuff fixed in the end.

    • Thats a shame.

Any tips for finding a local tailor?

      • Lying naked in the shopping mall with a sign says "needs tailor-made shirts", jk idk

      • You get what you pay for really. If you want a nicely tailored shirt, go to Suit Supply. They'll be closer to the $200 mark for a fully custom made shirt with decent fabrics.

I just threw away 3 shirts I had made a few years ago by them. Despite the measurements, they fitted really badly from the beginning. Bought some off the rack recently and am much happier.

I think I paid $200 for 3 at the time.

  • Wow, the price from these guys has skyrocketed compared to previous deals

  • Had two pairs of trousers made by them. Had to make two adjustments afterwards and they are no longer the same…
