A gift that both sucks and blows :)

Get this gift for your women, and there will no suck, just a solid blow to head with this harmonica.

its always going to be a tough act to follow when someone nails a joke so well before you.

but props for your efforts, it took guts :).

Nailed it? He said two words about sex and a bunch of geeks creamed over it.

And lol that my message was marked off topic, but talking about sucking and blowing is fine. Stay classy, OB.

great, been putting off learning harmonica for almost 6 months, it's about time to blow…

      Don't put it off.
Blues harps, like this, are easy. Easy to play, easy to master. You can't hit a bum note. It's more about feel. Just find a tune in the key of G (if you have a harp in the key of C) or get someone to play G C & D chords on the guitar, and start jamming.

      Have fun. It's worth it

Edit - for what it's worth, these harmonicas are nicknamed blues harps because that's what they're specialised for….playing the blues. Don't stress over trying to play a tune like the CD/book will no doubt try to teach you. The holes are small, and it's very difficult. Just rock out and solo some noise. As long as the key is a fifth above, you can't stuff up.

If you get to love it and want to play tunes, go and buy a chromatic harmonica, like Stevie Wonder uses - but that's another difficulty level altogether. Easy to play, but needs lots of practice to master.

  • interactive CD need key/password, anyone got key for it?

    • I just threw mine in the bin. Not really sure what the CD would offer but nothing a youtube video can't fix as well as harmonica tabs. I tried learning Piano Man but that was hard so i mastered jingle bells! lol.
