I just googled some parts and the code came up. I thought it could help someone to save a few $.
As usual it does not work on the useful more expensive items.

  Whether you take off 10% before applying GST or after, it should be the same price.

  80/1.1 = $72.72 (pre GST)
  72.72 - 10% = $65.45 (minus 10% discount)
  65.45 + 10% = $72 (reapplying GST)

      Regardless. It's math. It doesn't matter if the discount is applied before or after, same result.

      88/1.1 = $80 (pre GST)
      80 - 10% = $72 (minus 10% discount)
      65.45 + 10% = $79.2 (reapplying GST)

      88 - 10% = $79.2
