  • As per previous warnings here and here:

You are not selling iPhones. Please stop tagging iPhones in your deal posts. iPhone tags trigger alerts to users who are looking for iPhones.

Consider this your FINAL warning. Your posting privilege will be revoked if this happens again.

    • Thank you. This triggered my alert for Oneplus products.

      • Product wasn't tagged with OnePlus, so you must have received a search alert.

I suggest subscribing to the OnePlus Brand Tag instead, to receive a more accurate notification.

        • Thank you again, good tip. Maybe that's why I don't get all that many results.

Three strikes and… you get one more strike

    • Thank you, this triggered both of my iphone alerts unnecessarily.

if you have warned them and not listen just kick them out, hate those do not take warning seriously. they need to learn the lesson.

I want to assure you that I will refrain from adding iPhone product tags to my posts in the future. I appreciate the feedback and understand the importance of adhering to the community guidelines.

I would also like to address the need for moderation regarding comments that lack factual basis. OzBargain has unfortunately gained a reputation for hosting trolls and bullies ( https://www.productreview.com.au/listings/ozbargain ), which detracts from the community's positive experience. For instance, I've been personally using the product in question for over two years without any issues, including concerns about fire hazards. It is essential for moderators to actively manage such comments to foster a more supportive environment.

Thank you for your response. I certainly do not expect the removal of every negative comment, as constructive feedback is important for maintaining the integrity of the community. However, I believe that comments should be based on factual information to ensure a fair discussion.

I would also suggest that users who regularly post misleading or derogatory comments should have their commenting privileges restricted. This would help foster a more respectful atmosphere and protect the community from unfounded claims.

Neg for rep conduct on OzBargain, thinking you are above the law and lack of legitimate concerns from members which have gone unanswered. It is a privilege for you to be able to post on OzBargain not the other way around.

This is also a knock off iPhone charger. No wonder you keep tag spamming as per initial comment in this post thread. Deceptive.

        Plug standard: Australian Standard Plug.

Does this actually meet Australian standards? Or, are you referring the the fact that this has insulated pins?

        Do you have certification numbers?

        • This!
They have no certifications, no brand name, only offers some nonsensical description like '8 protections to keep you and your devices safer' which appears to have been copied from a Chinese wholesaler selling what appears to be counterfeit Apple chargers. When people call them out, they cry 'bully' without actually addressing any of the concerns.

Looks like a generic knock off apple charger, one of the photos shows US style plug, would risk my phone with this.

If someone wants a crappy no name 20W potential fire hazard of a charger, there are plenty on aliexpress for less than $5.

  • +2

Knock off of a Apple charger. Always a risky purchase as you don't know what the components or design are like.

Original title is, IMO, designed to be misleading.

8 Protections keep you and your devices safer.

and…. what are these 8 protections?

    • +2

A copy paste (with minor changes) from here : Made-in-China wholesale PD20 charger.
That's probably the source of this charger. About AU$3.24 if you buy in bulk, mark it up almost 10x then reduce to 2x :P
