StarCraft: Remastered and StarCraft II land on PC Game Pass on November 5
Windows PC, Game Pass
Xbox PC gamers can now relive – or experience for the first time – these iconic titles from Blizzard Entertainment, which changed the gaming landscape forever. As announced by Phil Spencer himself, you can join an ultra-passionate, global community when StarCraft: Remastered and StarCraft II become available through PC Game Pass on November 5! While StarCraft and the StarCraft II multiplayer mode remain free-to-play for all, Game Pass members will be able to download StarCraft: Remastered and the StarCraft II: Campaign Collection as part of their membership.
Originally released in 1998 and 2010 respectively, StarCraft and StarCraft II had a major influence on gaming culture: from redefining the storytelling possible in RTS games, to esports, to the development of live-streaming platforms, and beyond. The StarCraft series represents a historical shift in what gaming can be – shared experiences where heroes are created, forming community that can last a lifetime. The first SC2 campaign (Wings of Liberty) is already completely free, no subscriptions required.
This Game Pass (if it's the same as the battle.net 'Campaign Collection') release will get you access to the Heart of the Swarm, Legacy of the Void and Nova Covert Ops campaigns too and a few more Co-op commanders.
