These are the "older" iteration of the eighth gen, now six years old. I'd say they're worth ~$280 or so tops.

Condition is Used not refurbished and not even comes with a new battery!

Exactly, there were deals for this over 2 years ago for the same price. It was a bargain then but it's gorging to think it's still worth the same years after

      • still worth the same years after

i feel these refub sellers are not really offerring "bargain" but just advertising themself and hope one or two ozbs are noob enough and bite …thats it…

Miss the days of 80% or above. Quality refurb deals definitely seem to be getting harder to find.

Same laptop (albeit with i5 rather than i7) is available from Amazon for $329, and they quote 80% or above for battery health: https://www.amazon.com.au/Latitude-i5-8365U-Windows-Laptop-R…. The Amazon version has a 512GB SSD also.

Looking at reviews they're very similar in performance (i7-8650U vs i5-8365U): https://www.notebookcheck.net/i7-8650U-vs-i5-8365U_9212_1133…

Edit: Whoops, Amazon link is a different model (Dell 5300), albeit very similar specs. Apologies…

      • This will be the one year newer version of the same machine, so definitely a better deal. Model naming conventions were so confusing around this time, not only Dell but also Lenovo.

  • Are these foldable like a tablet and sport a back-lit keyboard?
