          • @jv: assuming it costs $100, i've gotten a 125% discount, seeing that I got it for free, and theyve now given me a $25 credit for streaming services. Still not all that interested in using it.

You'd get better value by punching yourself in the face.

Why would someone buy this if they have an android/webos tv

What is their business model? Isn't it just a bunch of free to air apps pre-installed?

  • +1

These surveying, spying, profiling devices should be literally free.

I got one for $49.50 with 3 months free Kayo and 3 months free Disney+
(then sold it for $50 after subscribing)

  • Given the repeated offers on this product I presume everyone NOT hubblin?

    • "You cannot download apps to Hubbl devices" is a deal breaker for many people…

It's basically Rupert Murdoch realising that Foxtel is dying a slow death and trying to capture some of his successor's money on the way out.

Looking at something to replace our Vodafone TV.
Ideally want an inbuilt TV tuner as it's for a projector.
The only TV we watch is sport (entertainment is all streaming) and AFAIK not all/any sport is available on IPTV apps?

Hubbl looks like one of the very few options.
Any other recommendations from the naysayers?

    • new fetch mini seems better to me, same boat as you, and want similar to the voda antenna port in a puck

      • Fetch doesn't support all the apps I want unfortunately.
        The Hubbl does.

      • Fetch is another piece of junk, Amazon fire stick will Do the job

        • It clearly won't as no fire stick has a TV tuner.

And secondly last I checked, Fire Sticks also don't support all the apps I want.

          • @ESEMCE: yeah sorry misread you need antenna, fetch still a piece of junk, see fetch apps available

            • @RogueWolf: Yeah I know Fetch had limited app support, that's why I think Hubbl is probably my only all in one option…

Do fire sticks have YouTube, Binge and Kayo yet?
If not they also remain on the poxy list as far as I'm concerned.
As much as Foxtel can go eat one, the content they have locked away is stuff I put through the rotation.

              • @ESEMCE: I dont have one yet but need to get one soon as telstra tv is being shut down end of oct, looks to have all those apps

              • @ESEMCE: Definitely has binge. Googled the others and yes YouTube and kayo are on fire stick now.

    • also want to replace a voda TV so i can just plug in antenna for free to air, problem is hubble doesn’t have USB where you can have movies on a storage drive.

  • yeah Chromecast is much batter than this device.

    Everyone's not hubbling

  • Max has now been confirmed as coming to Australia next year, that means good bye Foxtel.

  • I clicked on your link. It says I'm an existing customer and to sign in. Okay so I sign in and it has credit card details with a visa card that expires 12/20. Okay so what is going on here???

    • Check for an email titled: "Get 70% off a Hubbl" it has a special link.

That link will automatically apply the "SPH70" coupon.

I don't think you can apply it manually.

  • Where do you put code, I don’t see any option

I've come here to say that Hubbl/Binge/ have been the WORST company to extract the money they stole from me.

Don't sign up to their absolute nonsense, any of it.
