Cheapest Way to Send Money Overseas

    Wise

  • Worldremit. Easy and always gives you the best rate.

      • I agree with jv, and disagree with Freddo, and agree with ask-b:

Use Wise (formerly called 'TransferWise'). Wise uses actual exchange rates, not artificially inflated rates, they send the money quickly, and their fees are very low. They also offer other services, such as an international ATM card etc.

World Remit is not bad. They also use 'real' exchange rates, and send the money quickly … but their fees are a bit higher, and they have no ATM card option.

        • PS. You can store multiple currencies in your Wise account, including PHP. If you have PHP stored in your Wise account, you can withdraw it when you travel to PH using the Wise ATM card; thus incurring no exchange rate at all at the ATM. You do still get stung the 250-PHP 'this is not a card from this bank' ATM fee though, and you can only withdraw 10K from most ATMs each time—so obviously it is better to actually have an account with a Philippines bank (if you qualify/are able to), and use that when you are there, to avoid any ATM fees at all.

  • If it’s recurring and 7k, look for Revolut paid plan

  • Be wise, use wise.

  • XRP

  • hey it's me ur filipino cousin, I have payid now to make it easier for u :)

  • Wise. You can even transfer straight to GCash (costs a little extra).

  • Wise i think

revolut is useless for most non-western nations tbh they dont even give you a local overseas bank details for like non-western countries

anyway cheapest is probably sending AUD through like a friend or family or yourself overseas with ya (given you were travelling already, so travel cost is not sending money cost)

  • XE seems to be the go so trying them out.
