    Important detail - 1440p, 60hz

I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure all the U-series monitors are 60hz, since they're primarily geared towards professional colour-accurate work like prepress, graphic design and video editing.

Current model is 120hz, but that has only been the case since the U3425WE was released in February.

I bought this from the previous deal and am very happy with it - but I'm not much of a gamer so the 60hz limit doesn't bother me. Panel looks excellent.

Too much for a 10 year old monitor (based on previous deal comments)

No, it's a good deal. Most new curved ultrawide monitors are VA rubbish. This blows all the VA panels out of the water.

Still too much for old tech IMHO

  • how much does a stand cost?

Desk mount from around $40 on Amazon. Way better anyway.

      About $30 to $80
These would have been on adjustable arms in a modern office, the OEM stands would have been thrown out.

  • hmm ebayp+ and still paying delivery?

Got mine and it is a beaut!

    • Hopefully your desktop is a beast

      • Why would it need to be? It's not a gaming monitor.

I use it for working from home with multiple windows and spreadsheets, game changer for work

got this when it was $219 at a whim, made a huge difference in productivity. "feels" nicer to work on than a 4k 16:9, even though less pixels….
added a dock with 85w PD and 4k HDMI to bring it up to 2020 standards. FYI the new version DELL P3424we with usbc PD (90w) is (only) $700 new

  • Wonder how this would look like above my 49". During the day I use my 49" for work and would be nice to have something on top for playing music vids or personal browser windows etc.

  • Any recommendations for a table arm so that this can mount ontop of another screen?
