Has anyone opened a Disney Plus account overseas (Turkey and paid with Turkish Lira) and used it freely without VPN back in Australia?
I have the possibility to do so but don't want to have to use VPN back in Australia every time I want to use Disney Plus on my TV.
I'd open it here (as I am on holiday) and would make the payment with a local card.

Yes, you need a Apple ID that is in Turkey to create and buy the gift cards to setup then you can access the Disney account without VPN or issue.
I don’t need gift cards as I have a Turkish credit card (via family) so as long as I can get my email connected to the account and make it for that amount, then i’m good.
Why waste your money on a limited provider and not on a provider with it all under the one roof for quarter of the price?
