Nubia Focus 5G Phone + Free Blue Ant Pump Air Lite 2 Earbuds $1.50/Mth with 24-Month Phone Plan from $52/Mth @ Optus

Not for me but it might interest some who have a 24 month plan already with Optus and want a phone for $36 total which is a savings of $212.40 plus you get a free set of Earbuds worth $90 supposebly.

Discovered via chat with optus after my 12 months BYO plan at $22.50 expired and reverted to $52 per month.

Managed to negotiate $22 per month ($30 discount for 12 months) and they offered to upsell me this on top. Mainly with Optus for the Sport.

kind of a rank piece of shit but that's par for ZTE

    • Yeh I must admit I have not looked into the phone and I wouldn’t get it myself but if you have an existing 24months plan its not that bad lol

Crazy how this can have a 120hz display while base iPhones still can't

    • Thats the marketing strategies by Apple. They will provide every feature in base model who will pay more and buy the pro models.

Crazy how this can have a 120hz display while base iPhones still can't

Perhaps because there's not actually any good reason for a 120Hz display for most people? That it just pointlessly wastes battery capacity.

    • 🤣🤣🤣🤣

+$52 per month for cheapest phone plan over 24 months = $1,248 on top of the "$36"

I have this phone and you can see why Optus is trying to give them away. AVOID!!

  • Joke on you. No obligation to Optus after their biggest cybersecurity breach.

That a really good deal. I only managed to get a $15 discount after being a continuous customer for 10 years. I should have haggled them for more considering I have 3 mobile plans with them.

    • Yeh they initially offered 27 per month but I said I was going to More telecom for $21 per month and asked for $22
