Its just that they haven't updated all aspects of their website. If you add it to cart the correct price should show. I had the same issue when I bought an amp for my car.

My friend bought the set with surround for $275, he should buy this one instead and buy speakers separately because he didn't like the speakers.
Paid 260 two weeks ago for this, the 5 surround speakers and sub from JBHIFI

for me they are ok (the receiveer and speakers) but i dont have expert ears, plus this is my first receiver.
i definitely prefer the deal with speakers since i dont think you can buy the 5 speakers with $80-ish.
and i wish i get the vsx-300 deal since this receiver is BIG

if you just want to watch a recorded tv series or something through hdmi, but dont want to have to turn on the amp every time, hdmi standby pass through is a useful feature to have.
