      Saw it in Melbourne and I found Sarah Brightman pretty disappointing and hard to listen to. I got free tickets to a matinee as ticket sales towards the end were apparently poor and I saw Silvie Paladino instead of Sarah and found it better. Still, overall I found it average and definitely not worth the price I paid for the tickets to the first time I saw it. Honestly besides the lustre of saying you saw Sarah, getting the tickets for $72 and seeing Silvie is a better musical experience.

    and not trying to turn people off from watching it, maybe you can get an idea what’s inside his head? aging star is still dangerous is as far as I got.

    oh and it’s as a musical! probably helps to understand the general theme.

    I have seen Silvie in the role of Norma in Sydney three times now. Highly recommended! She is a national treasure with a stunning voice. Tim Draxl and the rest of the supporting cast are also fabulous. You don't often get to hear a 28 piece orchestra in the pit these days either!
