Is this a walking shoe or running shoe?

    • +24

      It's for Zoom meetings.

      Sorry.

      • +3

Indeed it is, who'd want to be seen in these? They'd be well hidden from the zoom meeting webcam 😁

It was a running shoes when releasing in the 2010s. Now it’s more of a trend to wear these re-release model. I have a pair with this in different colours, it’s lightweight and comfy with enough cushion for you run in them but I personally just use them for walks, which work great.

      • is there any other 2010s models?

  • Comes with handy spew bucket for when you look at these gross things

  • "with synthetic leather and plastic accents to create" … as cheaply manufactured product as possible

Thumb nail looks okay, but enlarged … yikes I agree with above comments.

  • Never ordered from hype before how are they for returns?

    • +1

If my experience is any indicator, they'll be terrible.

Ordered a pair of shoes. Pay $15 for express postage. The delivery sits at a distribution centre for two weeks, it's then returned to Hype apparently due to them messing up the delivery details.

They then refuse to send out a replacement order because their "system doesn't work that way." So I would need to pay full price, rather than the sale price I originally ordered on due to their error.

Another example of them taking client data to sell off without delivering the actual product.

      There's history there. https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/861643

And Australian retail businesses wonder why the public don't support them.

I have no interest in going into a store. It's not 2019.

          • @G-rig:

Pay for delivery then (free over x amount usually).

            Nah, I'll stick to Amazon.

Can understand, some people like sitting at home in their mum's basement gaming than going outside.

Fun fact. There's lots of things you can do out of the house besides going to a shopping centre.

@PainToad - Well you should make sure that you know your size then if you’re not interested in ever visiting a store. I wouldn’t purchase this ugly pair of Nike shoes, however I do regularly purchase Nike shoes, especially Nike Air Max 95s and 97s, I instantly know my size and their sizing, therefore there has never been a problem or a need for me to send them back.

  • I used to love these. Still never found a show as comfortable for my fat mid feet. Was delighted to see this post…until I saw the color options are dog $hit or fluorescent vomit.
Just re do the originals colors FFS

I got the Vast Grey’s for $160 delivered from this link.

  • Looks like created by AI.

  • Some of the older designs are way more durable.
