    Seat section on Qatar Airlines is only allowed if the booking is made through their official website. For any ticket that is purchased from any third party agent then they may not get offered seat selection. For that, they need to contact their travel agency. All the charges are per flight and passenger.

    Enjoy the middle seat or pay extra

      Even when booking directly there is a cost to select your seat which is pretty poor form for a full-service airline.
      I could understand a cost for extra legroom seats or exit row seats, but I can't see how they justify charging for a regular seat.

      Also, flying the A380 out of Sydney, if you want an economy seat upstairs, the seat selection fee starts from $218.

      Its probably also a good reminder that some of the Chinese airlines still offer cheaper deals than this and offer 2x23kg (Eg: China southern). I've looked at some of the recent flight reviews and they seem fine enough.

        How good are some of the deals coming from Chinese airlines!

        I have seen some reviews across social media/youtube and the Economy product looks to be just as good as flying Middle Eastern carriers.
