    Damn!

That S plan price increase hurts. It's a 50% price increase for only a 11.6% increase in data.

Not that I want more data. I only use ~40Gb/yr. Makes me wish I had moved to Amaysim on their now grandfathered $119 Woolies 1yr start plan that included 60Gb data/yr and included international calls to various countries. My folks are on this and the price remains at $120/yr. And they have access to Amaysim's 365 day expiry international roaming plans too.

+1 - wish I'd stayed on $170 woolw mobile plan.

Amaysim may get greedy and increase the $119 to $170 since everyone else is doing it

If you can live with 24gb - https://www.cmobile.com.au/sim-only-plans/#plans-red

Lets hope they don't increase the $119. My parents use about 3Gb mobile data between the two of them per year and they each have the $119 plan.

24Gb with unlimited calls/text would be OK for my parents… unfortunately not me.

Next cheapest would be GSIM but I don't have confidence in anything TPG related so would probably just pay the extra $30 to stay with Kogan or jump to a cheap month to month offering until Kogan has a sale on the S plan.

Just remember TPG = Vodafone = Kogan's supplier

          • @bdl: Yeah, I was alerted to this over at WP forums too… seems the acquisition happened when the Mrs and I had covid which might explain why I missed this very important bit of information (or forgot it if I did indeed read about it).

  • Just go with coles mobile, they still doing $120 plans

edit: looks like they've increased too. What is going on?

At that price you may as well go full Vodafone.

  • Small 365 Day Plan just increases to $150 somehow.
