Mine works great.
Like other forms of camera, more megapixels does not equal more better. 12MP cameras are unlikely to have any noticeable benefits over 8MP cameras, but will significantly increase file sizes and thus reduce the quantity of footage you can store before it's over-written.
In addition, higher MP cameras generally perform worse at night than lower MP cameras. This is particularly problematic when Reolink cameras (at least the older ones) don't have great night performance already. This can result in very blurry footage that's useless for positive identification.
My recommendation would be to go for a package like the RLK8-833D4-A and add on as many extra cameras as you need. These cameras have a wider field of view, a zoom lens so you can target a particular area of interest, and very decent night vision.
It's also not a terrible idea to mix and match cameras. A Duo 2 camera will achieve a better result than 2 separate cameras thanks to its 185 degree field of view, and is also easier to install (1 less cable run). Similarly, if there's an area that's less important to be monitored, perhaps a basic 5MP turret will do in that location. Packages are all well and good, and sometimes are a great price, but tailoring your cameras to the scenario is vital.
Finally, give some thought to supplemental lighting to improve night performance, if that's important to you. Reolink actually sells PoE-powered floodlights that can be triggered by camera motion detection, and the Duo has a Floodlight version that has excellent lights.
