  • Does it not work if you attach it to the iPhone 16?

    • it should be backwards compatible and work just fine. they will probably update it to include 16 soon.

iPhone 16 should support Qi 1 standard and MagSafe magnets are in the same place 15 vs 16.
just be aware this Anker will charge at 7.5w max (Qi 1 standard on iPhone).

while Apple MagSafe wireless charger charges at 15w, and the New Apple MagSafe charger (looks identical) charges at 25w max (new feature) on iPhone 16.

      • Slow charge is possibly preferable here. My Xiaomi one which I believe supports QI2 gets rather warm if you’re trying to also use your phone.

        • there was a test by Maxtech? on YouTube.

he tested wired wireless chargers (not power bank) speed and temps.

          Apple official MagSafe charger (15w) vs Qi1 (7.5w) vs Qi2 (15w).

Apple MagSafe was fastest and lowest temp throughout. Qi2 was very close almost as fast as MagSafe but much warmer temps.

Qi1 funny enough was slowest charge, but warmer temps than MagSafe?

I think official MagSafe charger communicates with iphone and charge speed is adjusted constantly to manage temp while giving fastest charge.

    • oooh good thing you shared this. might be worth giving this a read if youre planning to buy one

    • So the model listed isn't apart of the recall correct?
