Looking to Update My Car Insurance
Comments
$200 is cheap for any car for a year.
Yeah, $200 is cheap, it costs me $219.
I keep insuring it in the hope that someone will steal it, or hit it hard enough to write it off, it wouldn't take much, but no luck so far.
Maybe OP pays monthly?
In that case, I vote for an instant ban from Ozbargain.
That $200 is to cover the lawn mower
AFAIK woolworths do roadside assistance for $100/year so not sure if it adds more than that to an insurance premium.
Mycar gives you roadside assistance if you service with them. If you do service your car
Depends on what you mean by service… 😏
I wish my insurance was $200.
How are you getting it for $200? TPP with a multi-policy discount? I don't expect you can add roadside assistance unless it's comprehensive cover.
A) what type of insurance?
B) $200 per what?$200 for the lawn mower
A) Third party, fire, theft
B) Hot Toys
Lack of detail seems to indicate this is a joke post??
Suggest try YOUI Insurance; comes with road service. I ring them every year to review the premiums and usually receive some discounts.
Youi is one of the most expensive and painful to deal with
who the hell wants to make/take a phone call for a quote when you can do it online pretty much anywhere else for cheaper tooYoui gave me an insanely huge quote. Then said they will beat any competitor provided I gave them other quotes. Told them that tactic is rather condescending and sent them on their way. Wasted a good 10 minutes on the phone with them.
Have shopped around a fair bit and found them a good deal for us. Do have several vehicle, separate house and contents policies with them. Made one at fault vehicle claim with them few years back now that was quickly sorted.
the lazy tax isn't much. just add roadside assistance to your policy
