Is a Blanket Provided on Vietjet Air?

Flying to Vietnam on Vietjet Air and wish to enquire if there is a blanket provided on the plane.

Google wasn't helpful. Customer service could not understand what blanket means so they scrambled to provide me any real information. It’s not showing as an addon service so can’t purchase it.

As a result, need to rely on people’s experiences as to if a blanket is provided or not.

Thank so much

    Ive never received one

Even if they were, the blankets are likely to be paper thin anyway.
Might as well pack your own if it’s this important to you.

    cái chăn

  • Not provided when I flew out of BNE.
However the cabin was warm enough so it was ok.

The Comfort kit 3 in 1 (blanket, eye mask, inflatable neck pillow) is listed for US$12 in the Vietjet Air E-MENU. Complimentary if you're in Sky Boss class.

Their comfort kit is almost identical to Air Asia's. I bought one from Air Asia about 15 or so years ago. That blanket has been all round the world with me many times and still going strong. When I am not travelling I use it while I am sitting and watching TV. Best thing I ever bought.

    • Same here, although I have a few now.

  • You won't need it because they barely have the AC on. You'll want a hand fan instead.

    • You should be worried about heating instead because at 10,000m above if that breaks you'll wish more than a blanket.

  • No, they won't. Also if flying back you better buy the food package because they won't give you free water either. And forget about taking empty bottle with you too because just before boarding they will confiscate all liquid at Vietnamese airports in the name of Australian quarantine laws.

    • That's pretty f***kup - the dispose of water before boarding.

  • Can be helpful for others if they ever fly vietjet.
It was a good budget flight.
No blanket provided. No blanket was needed as they hardly had any AC on.
    The temp was perfect.
Got the food package with luggage so that was useful.
Overall, cannot complain for the price paid.

    • Blankets in long-haul attenuate in-flight flatulence. With minimal air movement and hardly anyone with fart blankets, count me out.

  • We came back on Vietjet this week.
In a nut shell you get ONLY what you pay for. Nothing more. But in saying that, the flight was fine- no issues here. Be the last to board so you arent sitting in the plane on the tarmac with no A/C on.
If you want a blanket you must buy the kit with the sleep mask (Maybe around $15). There was no credit card payments on board our flight- cash only so keep that in mind if you want to buy food/ drinks.
and yes do a bag search and take water/ drinks from you when you leave Vietnam.

    • yeah i just took a couple of small bottles in my cargo pants as they only ask but not really thoroughly check due to rushed boarding

      • At least the fine for getting caught is laughably cheap in Vietnam. According to the provisions of Article 26 of Decree 162/2018/ND-CP, a fine ranging from VND 100,000 to VND 500,000 shall be imposed for taking alcohol, alcoholic liquids and other liquids into the secure area or on an aircraft inconsistently with regulations.
