Hi Friends, similar to the Total Tool And Sydney Tool promotion that ran recently. For today only TKD are doing "tool mayhem spend & get promotion" making it the best deal available with some caveats. So for those who missed out on the other points redemptions here's another chance.

To get this deal you must: head into your local store. They have limited stores around the country they're mainly in WA and SA, and they have 1 store in Mentone VIC (Gympie, QLD not participating). I called the Mentone, store and they confirmed they could order it for me as they were out of stock of the trimmer kit. They order the Mower & bonus trimmer kits together directly from Makita, so I would have to come back to pick them up together. I would still be eligible to receive the bonus voucher though. So if you're reasonably close to a store it's a great promotion. This appears to be an in-store redemption because TKD website doesn't appear to be configured to handle the line-trimmer kit POS redemption.

Update: Seems like there's a mixed bag. Mentone store implied they could order me a kit despite not having stock on hand and based on other's comments some stores are not participating. Called the Midland, WA store and they are participating and have some stock

    $150 voucher better than Sydney Tools points to value of $100. However, the Sydney tools didn't have a minimum spend of $750

    I got the bunnings deal for 773 (missed the total tools/sydney gc), the mower seems like better quality than the ozito I was using but its a lot heavier than the plastic deck options (it's very noticeable).

    How long does it take for makita to send out the redemption offers?

      Ymmv I've always received quite quickly. They dispatch for NSW afaik.

      Be sure to register your lawnmower online for 5 years warranty :)

    I checked with Rockingham and Belmont stores in WA. They do not offer an 18v 1x4.0ah line trimmer kit. It is not worth it!

      Called Midlands and spoke to Andrew, he confirmed they're participating and have a couple of kits left, if it's not far for you, you could try there.

      Called Joodalup and spoke to Sandra, she confirmed they had stock and confirmed the promotion with the line trimmers, which is part of Mower Mania. There are at least 3 on hand, it's possible they could order more depending SoH with Makita.

      She also said it's a store-wide promotion mate, so it's possible that the person you spoke to just wasn't aware of it. There's nothing on the website to indicate it and for example, some people had to show the Bunnings staff the promotion.

      Not really, it's essentially a discount code not a gift card. I ended up just pickin it up from. Bunnings for 699

          maybe try a couple different stores - in qld for stores around me it ranged from 699-749

          Seems bunnings only price matches same state sellers. QLD and WA seem to have sellers at 699 hence why bunnings shows that price there.

      I didn't end up driving to Mentone, the ~4-hour round trip to order and pickup didn't really seem worth it for $150 when I'm only 5 minutes away from total tools. I'm waiting for another promotion from either Total Tools or Sydney Tools or I'll purchase it before the promotion ends.
