firstly scalpers are going to get these first and I doubt many will get them here.

there's also a Portal edition.

I beleive only 12,300 units in total and they are Digital Edition only!

      I so want the proper coloured buttons on that controller also. I hate the blank white look on the vanilla Dualsense.

      I just bought an Astro Bot controller though.. ugh. I can't justify this :/

      Controller doesn't have limited production numbers (only the console does) so hopefully there's decent stock around.

      That said, it'll still be out of stock for the first 3 months.

    Eh? How is it a loss to Sony? Whether it goes to scalpers or sellers it's all the same to them.

    Otherwise you're just buying into the marketing hype… There's no reason to buy this, they're just a different colour. Would you buy a new phone just because it has a different colour?

    What's the price of this going to be?

    Considering the edge controller is about $300 and then you have to add a disc drive. Was thinking this thing is going to be at least $1800+

      I think 1700-1800 for the Pro edition bundle, before you add the disc drive on top yourself. With an Edge controller, stand and controller charging dock, it’s gonna be expensive and I don’t think you’ll be saving much or anything getting the items grouped.

      Close to $2000 once you add the disc drive.

        Ouch. The paper clip and sticker they give you makes up for the price tag and no disc drive I guess. 😆

          I thought you meant regular console as in the bog standard PS5 white console. That's the regular PS5 console. Did you mean the PS5 30th Anniversay Digital?. That's actually also a Limited Edition so yes it's limited still.

          If it isn't a Limited Edition then it's a regular as in standard model. Sony only makes a limited batch run for Limited Edition consoles itself. Just that obviously they made far less units of the Pro model than the Digital model for the 30th Anniversary Limited Edition range.

          Come to think even Sony didn't make a never ending amount of standard model consoles. They just manufactured much larger numbers of consoles units.

    Good luck trying to get hold of one of the PS5 Pro units. Scalpers will be into this. Will probably be seeing units going up on eBay for a much higher price.

    I can understand the console being limited, but that controller should just be a regular option, like those other (to me personally) ugly coloured ones.
