Free to Air Apps Not Loading on My TV/Wi-Fi

My free to air apps for all channels don't load on my tv. I've reinstalled the apps and even did a full reset of the tv.

I assume it's a Wi-Fi issue because I also don't work on my phone but when I disconnect from Wi-Fi they do work.

I have two routers and tried both.

10play, 9now, 7, abc, sbs, binge don't work.

All other apps work, stan/Netflix/ Disney etc.

Does anyone have any ideas how to fix this?

  • Using any vpn or custom dns?

    • Nar nothing. My wife did get a VPN because she just left for overseas but we didn't use it while at home

        Some firewall setting? Could try to factory reset the router

        • I pressed the little reset button on the router and its done the trick.

    It sounds like some sort of Router/Configuration issue with your Network because if it works on your phone when you are not on Wi-Fi and on 4G/5G, then it sounds local to your network and/or maybe even an ISP Issue. However, it is most likely going to be a local network configuration.

    You could try changing your DNS from your ISP to Google or CloudFlare to see how it goes. If that still doesn't work, then do a router reset.

    Check you also don't have any router firewall/child rules enabled blocking streaming services.

    It's strange because it just randomly started after working fine for years

    • Maybe your ISP changed something on their DNS.

      Who is your ISP?
