    Fine, I'll be the one:

    Should be VI not IV

      Fine, I'll do the rest:

      Should be Core not Cored

      • LOL well played!

I really, really like this game - my first time playing a mecha game and it was so much more fun than I was expecting. Watching gameplay doesn't really do it justice, it feels amazing to actually play.

This was worth the full price of admission and was my GOTY of last year (BG3 aside).

If you love a good narrative, world-building, fast-pace, satisfying action & build-crafting - this one hits the spot.

Still think about the "I won't miss" pretty often.

Such a great narrative in this game.

Nice. Got it on xbox on eb games ebay store for $42 free delivery

    • Awesome! Used my $5 coupon too! Would rather play on the xbox than my ps5 too.

Great game, played through this one at release on PS5, It get's decently difficult towards the last few encounters and is a fun challenge all the way through. Controls like a dream compared with most of the earlier Armored Core games.

  • Is this essentially mech warrior reincarnated?

  • I tried to get into it. But I guess I really wanted a spiritual successor to Zone of The Enders 2. And this wasn't it. Don't think any game matches the fluidity/speed of the ZOE games to this day.

That said it controlled well, felt solid, but I didn't really get hooked in as I'd hoped.

  • Snagged one, cheers OP. Been waiting for a good price on this!

Absolute banger game and a no brainer at this price. Bought at release with zero regrets.

  • I wanna play this but haven't played games in 2 years, scared of getting hooked again.

  • I get that Mecha/Macross games are more popular than Battletech/Stompy mech games, but I wish it weren't the case. I'm an avid Mechwarrior Online player but it is dated, updates have to carefully step around the rampant spaghetti code and I pine for a new stompy mech game built on a current-gen engine :(
