It's way too heavy for most unskilled users.
I have one, and I like it.
But I wouldn't say its great for hitting much. The handle is quite heavy and sturdy IMO probably the most dangerous part LOL the sticky out bits isn't great to hold though but works if you just want to have fun.
The bigger issue I have is the blade itself, the plastic just feels a little to light and flimsy. So it makes swinging it around a little odd. And the flimsyness is alright for say light hits, but after $200+ the blade feels flimsy enough it makes you question "if i hit it too hard am I just chucking that money away if breaks" so you don't really hit properly.
