I bought a couple of these watches when a recent bargain was posted:

Does anyone know the best method to remove links to shorten the band?

It looks like you have open up links, then bend them closed again with pliers. But if you don't get it just right, the watch would then be uncomfortable to wear. There's also little arrows on the back of the band. In electronics (TVs, VCRs, DVDs), that means "remove this screw". But if that's what they're hinting at, I can't see what I'm supposed to remove.

    No, No, No - You can open the links with a small screwdriver. Lay the watch on its side, on the edge of a bench. Push the CENTRE of the link out to the other side, but it may take a little persuasion. Easy from then on. Good luck!
