According to Camel, the lowest price ever for this SSD was $229.50 last week, as the all time low, now it is selling for $224.28 delivered via Amazon DE, making this potentially the lowest price it has ever been. Going for $260, $280 and more via local stores.

I personally own one - still works a treat, after a year of heavy usage. Comes with a little rubber "jacket" that makes it somewhat water + dust + shock proof. May be of interest - especially given how absolutely tiny the thing is. So, so portable, I've had plenty of external drives such as this in my time, and these are pretty much the smallest I've owned.

Last few deals on here were in 2022, when it was selling for much more.

  is this competitve now?

  i would imagine kingston's own NV2 2tb with a matching type-c case would be faster… and more flexible if one day you needed to use that elsewhere

  I bought a USB 4 nvme case & a good 2TB ssd for around 250 on the weekend. Should be insanely fast. Definitely worth checking out other options.

  I was too tired to post at 2am but the Samsung T7 is $250 atm aswell for the 2TB at Amazon.
