That man needs to stop slipping up on stage… literally slipping!

We want him to stay alive and in good health for a while longer.

    Thanks….

  • Now watch me whip, watch me..

  • the tri-fold design itself is very interesting.

CPU might be underwhelming. (purely guessing based on their last gen processor)

5500mah battery for such a big screen might not have decent screen-on battery life.

almost 300 grams, a bit too heavy to carry around in pocket, that's a seriously pants-dropping-weight.

      do u lift br0
and do u skip legs day!

    • Yes, looking forward for a Tri-fold to be our go to, if possible, i use to have a Samsung Tab 7.7 as my tablet and phone and my Wife would not let me keep
It as it was too big and hard to put in my pocket so this might be an alternative one day.

well it's not gonna be much use outside of Chinese market, as Huawei phones comes without Google Apps and the Harmony OS is unlikely optimised for apps outside of China..

Other company like Oneplus, xiaomi might release one aimed for global market and we shall see how it goes….

tbh not a fan of Huawei or it's SoC, but this folding design indeed is super interesting and eye catching.

        • Kirin 9010 will be underwhelming compared to state-of-the-art SoCs for sure. The next-gen 9100 is rumoured to be on par with or better than Snapdragon 8 gen 2. It's kind of impressive given the semiconductor process HiSilicon has to use but still it won't be able to catch up quick in the near future.

There are reports that Harmony OS has built-in workarounds for MicroG so a selection of Google apps are usable. But indeed the OS will be more and more towards Chinese market only, and once Harmony OS NEXT is publicly available, it will be likely unusable outside of China for obvious reasons.

Mate XT is an amazingly designed hardware. Just not ready (or likely on purpose not to) for international market.
