You had something special that made you fly?
every time there's a flight deal, OP posts weird anti flying comments, e.g. https://www.ozbargain.com.au/comment/15689671/redir
oh haha got ya
Haha nice catch. But I don't see anything wrong if it's a fact. Not sure why got negs. The planes are old yes from what I know but well maintained.
@bcYield: Look at his other comments. It's all just anti flying for some reason. I would understand if it was a warning against a certain company with high crash statistics but this just seems to be a fear of flying
Only real bargain hunters know this is not a good deal
so where would the real bargains be?
🏴☠️
Deep
not when it has denuvo
@princesszeldachechen: This, very unlikely to sail the 7 seas with Denuvo
@R3XNebular: Given how popular the game is, theres a chance be still slim
@Shiroi Okami: well until now we still havent got Persona 5 cracked…
@Shiroi Okami: Not since empress has left the scene.
using VPN hook up STEAM to HK server then pay it with alipay you got it for $55
steam crack down VPN purchases like gestapo. not worth it.
I would absolutely not use VPN to buy games on steam, you will be banned.
I have mixed feelings about this game. The graphics and artwork are brilliant. The levels are a bit empty between bosses with mostly uninteresting and relatively "easy" enemies as filler between bosses. Some people have said this game plays like 'Boss Rush Mode' and that's not too far off the mark. The combat can be exhilarating at times but some of the bosses are awkwardly balanced. Ultimately, I've put the game down around the 50 percent mark and I may return at some point but I honestly got a bit bored. That's partly me getting burnt out on the souls like genre. I think it's an incredible 1st effort but I'm feeling like all the imitators of FromSoft never quite get what makes their games more than just "here is a painful boss fight". It is worth getting if you have the hardware to run it.
What do you mean by awkwardly balanced?
I personally agree with you on the graphics and artwork. However, I feel like an important aspect of the game was left out in your thoughts which is the actual story itself. For those who are familiar with Journey to the West, the Black Myth Wukong tells an interesting story for what comes after the completion of the journey. You sort of really need to be able to understand what's going on to really enjoy it
I don’t agree - if you read the back stories in the journal and watch the cutscenes without skipping you can get the story more or less, but of course I’ve got the book in my kindle just haven’t got time to read it yet too busy playing this game 🤣 I’m currently on ng+2 imho the best balance of difficulty level and your character’s power. I rely on see through and pluck and many for this run. Fun game play, awesome visuals great story it’s my GOTY. Love little bajie to pieces.
I think the novel was written in 16th or 17th century, that 200 - 300 years before CCP exist.
@stevelo: good point
@CptnObvious: Ha! Journey to the West is actually full of satire on corruptions of the Buddhism, Taoism and Ming government back then. It's a great gateway to look into the dark history of China and I'm surprised that the book still hasn't been banned by the CCP /s
@scotty: Lol, there are 4 Classic Chinese Literature, the Journey to the West is one of them. Almost everyone in China knows and watched it during their childhood. Sorry but I think you are a little biased.
@Strangeeer: Little biased against Journey to the West? Or biased against CCP? I did add that
/s
at the end to state that my comment was sarcastic, but let me unpack what I was trying to say.CptnObvious claimed that Journey to the West was CCP's propaganda to export Chinese culture to western audiences. Yes Journey to the West was one of the 4 classic literature of China and that's why there are lots of studies dissecting what's actually written (similar to all the Shakespeare's). The book itself is full of sarcasm reflecting the problems of the society back then (in Ming Dynasty). There are conflicts between Taoism (Chinese-own) and Buddhism (imported religion) where the two worked together on the surface sometimes but tried to beat out each other in the shadow. Many of the "monsters" are under the backing of rival taoists or buddhists god/goddess, reflecting the corruption of the government.
So I am arguing that how can Journey to the West be a propaganda piece of CCP, when it's exposing the corruption of the government and society problems?
@scotty: CCP is happy to take a hit, if it means pushing their cultural influence agenda abroad.
There's a similar example with what china is trying to be captain planet (50% of china's energy needs supposedly now met through wind/solar/hydro). Yes CCP will take a hit from closure of their coal mines and upsetting their arab friends, but it's sending a message to the woky greenies that china is all about saving the planet through renewable energy, planting trees and ev, when all they are trying to do is corner the world's energy and ev market. How deliciously evil of them.
@CptnObvious: You can read Journey to the West published in Taiwan, if you too scared of CCP.
@CptnObvious: Akira Toriyama was inspired by Journey to the West when creating the character Goku in Dragon Ball. Are you going to oppose people watching Dragon Ball as well?
@flypig: You change it enough so people associate with it being Japanese and then it might be fine.
P.s: this being said, are the Japanese much better than their neighbours?
Not sure what he meant but for me the difficulty level is a bit strange, for example I spent hours on the whiteclad noble whereas my friend passed after half an hour, yet he spent hours on the black wind bear and I breezed through. It seems the difficulty is different for people where as Elden Ring doesn't have that issue.
After only playing a small amount of the game, so far I agree with the boss rush mode sentiment.
I beat one boss and then there are a few small fights and then I go wtf another boss already?
I sort of agree with the boss run thing, but there are a lot more information hidden in the dialogue with each bosses, even the small bosses. You need to refer to the boss detail to understand the whole picture of the story. The conflict between budda, celestial court, human and money king is hidden in each of the dialogue and boss description.
True for the boss rush problem in chapter 1, but 2,3,4 are way better than #1, #5 is okay, #6 is shit.
I didn't look into this game but when I first saw a video of it, I thought it was another tech demo and wasn't supposed to be released as a game.
Around 40% of the game is behind side quests, including the crafting system, vessel system, hidden bosses, and even secret maps. It only feels like a boss rush game if you choose to play it that way. The imbalance you're noticing is likely due to not unlocking some of this content. However, this design is a direct nod to the original Journey to the West lore.
I haven't played many games in my life, but this one reminds me of playing Monster Hunter on the PSP. The feeling of failing multiple times, persevering, and finally defeating the boss with the last bit of health left was exhilarating. I miss that excitement and the adrenaline rush, but I've grown out of it and can't afford to spend so much time on gaming anymore.
There's no doubt it's a great game with an excellent storyline. I'm glad I bought and tried it. Even though I might never finish it, I enjoyed the experience and feel it was worth the money.
Not as good as others like Gran Turismo 7 though.
Ps5 or pc? Why ppl spent thousands on new pc when they just get Ps5 for way leas
I can justify the cost given the time spent on the hobby and I prefer a solid 60fps and a better looking game.
PS5 cant get solid 60fps, you need 4070ti for that.
Why eat at steak joint when you can eat at McDonalds for way less?
Actually, during the first week of this game , both PC and PS5 sold out in store for a short period of time.
Ran fine on my PS5 with 4k TV.
- You can mod on pc, edit money or item on single player game which save a lot of time grinding.
(for example Nier Replicant: Life In The Sands Quest) - PC game is cheaper or free, I hasnt buy game in a long time since Epic, GOG, amazon prime giving out free games regularly.
and in future I dont need to buy a new set of game if I upgrade my PC. - Better looking game, I played on 34 inch monitor 3440x1440 with high quality everything.
- No need to pay additional money just to play online game (you can argue PS plus is better with game they give you, but you lose access to the games as soon as you stop paying)
Few years ago I still considering buying console for the console exclusive game, but nowadays most game is released on PC as well.
But proper gaming cost almost 3k minimum almost. How many free games and perks needed to justify over 2k more than a Ps5?
I use PC for other thing not just PC gaming, I play switch game on it, coding, recording etc.
3k is the top end of gaming PC, you can get the decent one for only $1500.

GOTY
I just bought space marine 2 for $75, bad timing! Once I’m finished with that game I plan on buying wukong next
Don't forget God of War is also on sale if you have not played it yet 😁
I would like to play this game, but not $75. Got plenty of games in my steam and Epic, gona wait till this much cheaper or upgrade my 6800, not in hurry.
Beautiful looking game but a bit hard for me cant get past the boss the Fire wolf even with a youtube video showing how to kill him lol , my reflex's arent good enough and my meds dont help , but i will keep trying as it was nice to play a game were you get your arse kicked ….. no really .
