Not really a bargain and I'm not angry by the way. Just don't want OzB to become OzFreeAdz.

You should get used to it.

Not bad… just signed up to IMB for their $3k cashback @ 6.07% comparison rate, which I thought was pretty competitive.

ME have the $3k cashback, but their comp rate is 6.15%.

If ANZ is offering $3k and under 6% comp that's pretty good (but that's not what it says on their website though).

Cheapest variable rate I could find was with Tiimely at 5.95% comp for new lend.
I churned from them to get the IMB, but was otherwise pretty happy with them. They rolled me on to a 6.15% rate after my fixed period so lost my business, but I was actually pretty impressed with how quick and easy it was to sign up with them. Best experience I've had actually.

    • Yes, ANZ rates are not competitive..

    • You happy with IMB? Offset account?

    • What’s the minimum loan at IMB please?

  • Currently with ANZ @6.19% and they wouldn’t move. 5.98% is craz good

If you get an offer from a new lender, they will give you a lower rate. I am with ANZ. My rate is slightly lower than yours because I was going to move to HSBC.

      • I actually got in contact and bluffed with a request to get payout figure. They said sorry you have the lowest discount.

As someone stuck with Anz for home loan due to a really weird set of personal circumstances, F ANZ. It is legitimately unreal how clueless and unhelpful all the various levels of the bank were that we had to deal with. I’d name the exact branch that gave me the most grief but looking at the reviews of most of the other local ones it looks like it’s a common theme lol

  • what other banks are doing cashback for existing loans?
