      • Makes u want to sail the high seas doesn't it when watching

    • Was available to my regional area, for delivery, albeit at $26.40…..

People need to get onto these noodles. IMO, better than migoreng

    • That's more than double the price though and even worse when you consider that Mi Goreng has 5 packs of noodles instead of only 4 in the link. EDIT: I didn't neg you

    • in what ways is it better?

      • I'm guessing taste unless they are using them for construction purposes. Which is a valid take, taste is subjective.

Hot food in polystyrene is not good a idea. The convenience of these sorts of packagings may not be worth it in more ways than one.

    • if you are afraid, you can put it in the bowl.

      • +4

then might as well buy the package one, much cheaper.

      • +3

May as well just buy the noodles in the packs then and not make the cups, they continue to damage the environment with styrene afterwards as well.

I know it's a drop in the ocean, but it's good to share awareness of the toxins around us so people can better understand imo.

    • The packaging for Mi Goreng Cup is not polystyrene

      • +2

I checked, they are some sort of PP. Which whilst technically believed "safe" in itself always has additives (e.g. phthalates plasticizers, phosphorous flame retardants, UV-stabilizers).
We know there is no such thing as food safe plastic once we apply heat, too.

I'm not here to preach, just to draw attention.

          UV-stabilizers

          That's what gives it it's Unique flaVour…

The polystyrene provides all the nutritional value.

    Ingredients: Refined Palm Oil

    • That's the last thing you should be afraid of the ingredients in all these foods. It's all fake and cancerous, not just palm oil.

That's the last thing you should be afraid of

The hot and spicy 12 packs are showing as 2 dollars but incorrect weights. Might work as a error or you may get one pot.

    • Might work as a error or you may get one pot.

      Read the first review.

      but incorrect weights.

      overall weight is correct.. 12 x 5.83g = 70g = 1 packet

How did you price check go with Asian groceries? Haven't bought these in a while but this isn't exactly a great price.

    • Feel free to check the price. With $1.6 delivered, i dont need to waste my time to go and save my fuel

      • I did recently see the price at Asian grocer lol that's exactly why I said it's not a great price.

But I agree it's a waste of time and fuel if the only time you ever go outside is to get more instant noodles.

  • Might as well.

  • Are the seasoning sachets the same as the usual packets? Ie a pain to open without making a mess either on your hands or scissors

    • i always heat the sauce sachets in some warm water while the noodles are cooking …
      - the sauces are not thick and easy to squeeze out.
      - separate the 3 sauce sachets
      - shake the oil and shallot oil so it mixes well before pouring over noodles.
      - tiny corner hole for the sweet and chilli sauce so they dispense thinly over the noodles for a better coating.
      - always do it in the pot rather than a bowl to maintain heat in the noodles..
      - i just eat out of the pot no washing of extra bowl.
