why do games start downloading after purchase … lol

  • Shame. No way to claim the game without installing from Microsoft Store. Luckily the game is only 258mb in size. Just uninstall after installing and its in your Microsoft game library..

Just cancel the installation as soon as it starts. You don’t need to download it.

  • I this possible to claim without using MS Store App?

The store app isn't working for me….says 100% off but the "Get" button won't load. In the browser when I hit "Get" the button just disappears. Figured maybe it was some sort of browser issue…Safari…Chrome…Firefox….Edge….maybe connection. Tried my own mobile as well, then my wife's, again with multiple browsers. How bizarre….

I'm getting exactly the same thing in my browser.
But I held my nose and found it in the Microsoft Store app and that worked.
(I never use the app and woah, I can see why - it stinks!)

  • I got all three games free- pretty happy. II is still free, but I has gone back to it's usual price.

  • Microsoft have the worst buying experience. Pathetic. Why can't you just do it on the website? Click, sign in, approve security, opens up web app, sign in, approve security, click Free, starts to install, can't cancel install, circle still spinning. Refresh page, says FREE still. Click, spins forever. Useless POS!!!!
