Hopefully we get another $20 voucher at the same time.

    • +1

The last $20 voucher deal expired yesterday, so unlikely for a while 😔

    • +2

I asked on Saturday when the next one was due out and was told every 3 months for the $20 voucher and every month for double dollars.

Talk about throwing money down the drain

    • +2

Good for things like birthdays if you have one coming up, or gifts. Not everything has to be completely useful in life for it to be enjoyable :)

      • +2

Ozbargainers running around for $1 cahsback would splurge on this

    • +1

Play the right machines and you can turn a profit thanks to combining this deal with the $20 voucher and discounted gift cards.

    • Bro where do you think you are? This is Ozbargain lmao; it's The Money Pit

    • +4

Some days I'd rather a couple of hours at the arcade than a couple of hours at the pub for the same price.

      • +2

You effectively pay $1.20-2 per machine and a good workout (go hard on DDR - Dancerush if you're very lucky to have one in your local Timezone). As opposed to dropping $14+ on a pint which is super negative ROI.

      • Exactly this. Kids have loved making a day of it heading out on the train, going to play a few games then a run around the Esplanade (in Freo) . Even with the $200 limit there’s usually plenty left over after a visit so works out pretty well.

dang it, not again. i already redeemed for $200 last time this deal was up like 2-3 weeks ago. no i have to load it again. i have like $700 on my card, im never going to finish it :(

    • +5

Hey you Bargainer, you listen to me, do not redeeeeem, do not redeeeeem the cards, do not redeem cards, do not redeem the cards, noooo nooo no no no no, no!

      • +2

instructions unclear, reloading in 5 days :(

  • Anyone know if you can use gift cards with this deal?

    • +2

Yes, you can redeem gift cards (in store) and combine with with this deal.

E.g. If you get a deal for 15% off gift cards, you could get a $100 gift card for $85, then use the gift card instore and get double dollars, netting you $200 credit for $85.

Best combined with the $20 voucher that comes around periodically to pull off the same thing for about $68.

        Very nice tyvm

Nek minit a game of Daytona is $6 not $3. Was alright 25 years ago when it was $.40-.80.

I think min spend was $1000 to get the gold card

  • Doorway for kids to get in on the gambling train early on in life.

    • +4

No ty, just DDR and Dancerush stardom for me.

      • +1

        Same! Plus jackpot ticket games.

  • Just in time! I am nearly out after spending $400 credits (not $400 spent) over the last 3 weeks.

  • +3

I'd be much more interested if my local TZ's weren’t 80% skill testers/prize ticket machines and 20% arcade games.

    • +3

      skill issue

      • A lot of the fun ones from the 90s don't exist today :(. And I don't just mean the claw machines - I also call the basketball hoop, the ramp you roll a ball on then watch it land in a hole etc, shooting and knocking down clown teeth etc etc skill testers as well.

  • There goes another $200 this weekend

  • -1

Not recharging unless $80 for $200 credit.

    Use giftcard for that too.

The offer is given per account. So if you got two cards registered on two different accounts per person in family… To Max out your chances of getting vouchers.

Also if you got gold cards split the recharge at two different venues. For the free game per day.

It is not disclosed you need to recharge every 91 days at the same venue for Gold card free game per day to work

I also split my usage to keep the balance healthy. This way I don't run into low credits on one card having the urge to recharge that one when deal is not on

You should also do some maths which machines are most fun to play and gives you most rewards or you are good at. To get Max benefit ratio with credit spent. Your app tells you how much you spend per game and how many tickets you get

You may decide to teach your kids these skills so we can pass on and build the next generation of Ozbargainers

Now that's the true Ozbargain spirit

  • That's certainly a new way of doing things. Back in my day (mid 90's) while at the Sunday super sessions I used to see people physically rig the machines to get maximum tickets (re: someone holding a basketball through the net to rack up their score). I had better things to do like play NBA JAM, Daytona, Mortal Kombat!

  • Hi fellow ozbargainers,

I loaded $100 recently during this double dollars deal with the intention of using it for the kids for the upcoming school holidays. I loaded it on the 14th of Sept through the app but the card is showing the credit will expire on the 23rd Sep?? I know there is the clause about last in game use, does this mean i have to go in to play a game to maintain the credits?
