Seems like a decent deal for a wired mechanical keyboard.
Same price at Amazon/Catch/My Deal.
$10 off at Amazon if you are eligible.

How do you get the code?
It's gone now.
Tecware Phantom rules for the price. And this is the cheapest I've seen one. I have a TKL and two full sized, all outemu (I think) brown switches. Some of the switches over the years have become a little hit or miss but they're swappable in my models so I just bought a pack of spare switches to replace them as they become less reliable. Can recommend.
second this (also have TKL brown switch and have had full size one in past), they also come with about 3 or 4 spare switches in the box too =)
They came with 4 spare switches last time I purchased but never had to replace any yet.
I have one as well and think it's remarkably good for the price.
It's incredible how some tech is so good and cheap.
Although I did buy this one from Amazon again just now, thanks to @thorpef1, my first one died around the 14 month mark. I was using it with Outemu silent whites for the perfect daily driver…until I wasn’t. I probably could returned it but had already sold the brown switches it came with. The keyboard does get great reviews though so It’ll be a spare until my daughter steals my AKKO 3098B Plus (current WFH keyboard).
I spent a whole week going to various computer shops trying about 20 different keyboards, and at the end the 2 top contenders were the Logitech that costs around $300 and this keyboard.
It kinda makes me want to hate the whole boutique keyboard subculture but I guess it's because for most people it's a blind online buy so they never know whether what they're getting is trash (about half the keyboards I tried were utter trash, and this across the price spectrum) or really good.
It's mostly down to switches (personal preference) and keycap quality. It's a bit much to say that the entire keyboard hobby is trash.
The upside is that you can tell pretty quick if you're going to like a particular board or not.
From what I've seen, switches and keycap quality are the least of it. For whatever reason, hipsterism or puritanism or whatever it is, almost every boutique keyboard eschews every development keyboards have had since about 1985. Everything from multimedia keys to about a dozen ergonomics improvements relating to layout and spacing, keycap shaping, wrist and hand support, height, and a bunch of other subtle things you don't notice until they're gone.
Even though I really loved the actual typing action of both the Logitech and the Tecware (bought them both), after a few weeks I ended up going back to my Microsoft Digital Media Pro. The difference in ergonomics was like going from horse drawn carriage to a Tesla. Keyboards are a silly, silly subculture.
@umexcuseme: So…. you don't actually have any real experience using mech keyboards besides a week of visiting computer stores and using two products for a couple of weeks, and you're really angry about… something?
Personally, I think cars and televised sports are even sillier subcultures, but to each their own.
Switch choice and keycaps are pretty much 90% of the board. There's also basic layout, but that's so obvious that you can just look at the board and and figure out if it's right for you or not.
So…. you don't actually have any real experience using mech keyboards besides a week of visiting computer stores and using two products for a couple of weeks, and you're really angry about… something?
I was using mech keyboards before you were born, child. Sadly you are too dim to understand any of what I said. Carry on using your overpriced trash.
Sadly you are too dim to understand any of what I said.
Then learn to express yourself better, you know- with a keyboard. That thing in front of you.
I was using mech keyboards before you were born, child.
Very unlikely, unless you learned on punch card machines.
As someone who seems to make a big deal of… multimedia keys… even more unlikely.

Got a TKL Phantom L (low profile) brown switch and it's been great, really nice to type on.
Red switches aren't my favourite but Tecware build quality is decent, can't go too wrong with this one for the price.
This keyboard looks identical to my Redragon K582 SURARA RGB I bought a few years ago for $69 at Umart. If it is the same keyboard I can recommend it. The switches are replaceable but when I contacted Redragon they told me not to replace them too often. Once or twice is fine. I greatly appreciate a company who is clear and honest regarding their products.
The switches my Redragon came with are very light (non clicky) so I replaced some of them with heavy black switches (also non clicky).
The color patterns are nifty but I mostly use dim red. The media keys are not lit so they aren't visible in a darkish room.
is this easy to type on? i like low profile keys for quick non loud typing is this even a right buy for a backup keyboard?
Yes easy to type on
I've got both the Tecware Phantom and Tecware Spectre with brown switch (tactile bump feedback, not too loud).
I have only had to swap out one key in about 3 years.
The nice thing about the Spectre is it has a volume control knob at the top right which I use frequently.
Great keyboards!
Ordered 5. Literally
Is that you, Broden?
Does your PC have 5 USB Ports?
It likely does, mine has 17 USB ports all up. milobob may have many PCs in need of an upgrade, maybe a few work servers need new keyboards too.
Yup. Replacing the membrane keyboards one by one.
Any good headset deals going around?
Just broke mine last night 😭
Anyone know how loud this is? Is it going to get me kicked out of the office? Or am I asking for a unicorn with a decent keyboard that doesn't sound like a freight train coming past?
It's loud.
You just need to pick the right switches.
Silent switches are a thing and render the keyboard as quiet if not even more so than some regular membrane boards.
Maybe consider these https://www.amazon.com.au/Keychron-Silent-Pro-Switch-Switche…
Brown Switch version still available at MyDeal for $22.95 delivered
Yep, I got a red switch one from Amazon and a brown switch one from MyDeal.
14 at MyDeal, 18 at Catch remaining.
Now sold out on MyDeal and Catch.
What is a mechanical keyboard?
It's not digital
It's not the cheap POS freebie that came bundled with your Dell.
I got an ebay message from the seller saying due to stock decrepancies they can only offer me the brown switch version or a logitech pop keyboard instead.
also got the email, either replace with logitech pop (choice of colors) or Tecware Phantom RGB 104 Wired Mechanical or money back
no idea what to do now, I didnt need a keyboard, but following the rules, high votes = must buy.
I'm getting their brown switch version that they offered as I'm going to be using different switches but I would have preferred reds as standard.
I got the email too.
I've accepted this one as a replacement:
8692600512991 Tecware Phantom RGB 104 Wired Mechanical
It's ok but my space bar keys popping off these days.
Good for the price though.
How long have you had it?
Maybe … 1.5 - 2 years. The keyboard always has issues with space bar pressing though. As i said for the price its a good board.
The metal frame is solid. For $22 it's a good keyboard but don't expect to be precise as a more expensive mech keyboard.
Got offered the 104 Keyboard and I said yes, but got a message back saying they also don’t have that one now, got the refund. 🤦♂️
Mine arrived today.
Pretty impressive for $13 :)
Mine arrived today, was offered the browns via Ebay and accepted, received the reds anyways. Very impressive for the price point. The GMMK 1 software also works with the keyboard. Have not tried openRGB.
I got red. I have another brown which I got in 2021 for more than double the price.
i prefer brown over red though.. but cant complain its still great keyboard.
Got mine over the weekend. Build quality feels crazy good for the price.
For anybody looking at this in the future, you can flash QMK/VIA + get openRGB support onto this making it an absolutely wild value proposition for this price point.
If you want the easy way, get the sonix firmware flasher, flash the jumploader.
Then get the firmware from here (use archive.org) https://github.com/gloryhzw/qmk_tool/wiki/VIA-OpenRGB-for-GM…
Those more technically inclined can look up instructions for flashing SonixQMK onto the GMMK, just note that a lot of the links and instructions are slightly dated.
Seems to be the same price everywhere. Amazon, catch, big w
Edit.
Amazon has a $10 off code, so $12.95
