  • If you buy 2 is there a way to context them together to make them one 10M LED string?

    • no, you need to buy the 10m version

Note that these do not have any dedicated white LEDs, so if you use these for cool or warm white lighting, the colour will look strange and off-kilter — this is why these are so cheap. I'd suggest only getting this model if you plan on using it mostly in colour mode.

If you want to use white lights, go for something like the L930-5 or L930-10.

A lot of reviews about the poor white light, even the colours are a bit off as I got one a few days ago but for the price I really don't mind. I use them with other lights in rooms so only have the light strip at 1% brightness, I did notice the brighter I went the more off the colours seemed.

  • Seems like a dud by your account.

I got 10m Tuya compatible ones for $12 shipped on AliExpress and have no issues with colours and whites you are reporting with your deal.

    • You would be able to share link for this? I could only find $25+ for 10m tuya

      • Can't post AliExpress links.

        Search for

TUYA LED Strip Light Smart Wifi RGBIC Dreamcolor Ribbon Lighting USB 5V WS2812B Addressable Light Lamp Support Alexa Google

It's $11.34 but you'll need to add another item to get free shipping over $15.

You'd probably find cheaper if you had more time, this was one of first searched on page one. The one I have has sold out but this looks identical.

I am pretty sure RGBIC doesn't include the extra white light bulb? you would need RGBICW

    • Depends what you want them for, also depends if you even notice the colour difference as it's not huge. I've worked in jobs that require Pantone colour correction so I do notice it, also noticeable if mixing with other light bulbs that have better colours.

I also have a Tuya strip and is is a lot better for whites and even some colours as it has an extra bulb with white light.

      • If you have worked in the film and television industry, you should be aware that coloured backlighting isn’t something that is used for colour correction or accuracy, coloured backlighting generally will have the opposite effect degrading the quality of the image and it from being displayed accurately. If white backlighting lighting is required then something like the Medialight MK2 flex series which is ISF certified would be what you would use.

  • I have some still in box, any can share some setup usage idea ? 10m multi colour xiaomi

  • Are these individually addressable ?

    • No

      L920 and L930 are
