          It’s interesting - back in the day if I rocked up with a slab of anything but crownies I’d get laughed out of the customers office. Now if you rock up with crownies you get laughed out of the office or asked if they can trade for a slab of stone and wood or wild raspberry cruisers.

        Relic of the 1980s when there were no craft beers and international beers were viewed with suspicion.
        Would be served at a wedding, or if somebody wanted to show off, like a real estate developer taking Japanese investors out for dinner.

            US Bud is VB or XXXX grade, maybe a little lower, but the price is good!

    Pretty sure the crownies are cheaper than they were at the discount bottle’o in 1990.
    Which is a hell of a discount considering excise has probably tripled!
    Or rather, and example of how we were reamed in this country before competition.
