    The PS5 Pro card.

That would be the RX 7800 XT, because it has 16GB video memory.

      • Not necessarily, the amount of memory allocated can easily be shifted between SKUs. For example, remember that older cards were often sold in different memory allocations such as 4GB and 8GB.

    • Probably a hybrid of both cards with RDNA 3.5 features & improved Ray Tracing.

    Does anyone know the dual 165hz 1440P Monitor idle power draw of this 7700XT.. a 6600XT 8Gb uses 20w and a 6800 16Gb uses 30w

    At 60hz for both monitors a 6600XT uses 6w and a 6800XT uses 8w

The video memory is maxed out when 165hz is set… spent 2 years tried all the fixes. Even changed to AM5 and still cant fix the high refresh idle power draw.. i think Nvidia does the same thing.

    • That sucks. Maybe as a temporary workaround, you can find a batch file that sets the refresh rate so you can quickly toggle 60/165hz so you can enable the higher refresh rate when gaming and disable when doing other stuff?

    • does it really matter?

I'm off grid so that sorta thing is a significant consideration for me.

        • Just panels and battery I presume?

@Steakz: Got a few different grids for various systems but mostly consisting of just panels and batteries. one has a generator, one has a wind turbine.

Different drivers could have different outcome, but information above could help

    • I remember reading on a forum (might have been Guru3D) that enabling Freesync/VRR lowered power consumption with dual high refresh rate monitors.

  • Worth upgrading to this from a 1080Ti?

    • +1

Depends what games you play and at what resolution and graphics detail.

      • CP2077 (need an upgrade to the SSD as well to install Phantom Liberty), AC Valhalla, AC Mirage, God of War

Thinking of upgrading to a 4k 144Hz panel, but happy to game at 1440p. I know it won't look ideal but I like 4K for productivity (data work, spreadsheets)

I would say yes, I went from 1080ti to RX 6800 (equivalent card) and saw in improvement of something like 30% more fps in avg.
