$450 Cashback on Personal Loans (Conditional, Existing Customers Only) @ ING

60

Just got the email below. From a quick look through the only fee appears to be $150 establishment fee. Let me know if I missed hidden fees.

Great news! As an existing ING customer, we've made it easier for you to apply for an ING Personal Loan.
Based on information we have, you are conditionally approved for an ING Personal Loan up to the amount in your email over 3 years.

Plus, you'll get $450 cashback when you accept your contract by 31 October 2024. Once you've qualified, we'll pop the cashback in your Orange Everyday account within 60 days.

If your personal and financial situation hasn't changed in the last 12 months, you'll have an express application experience, where you could be approved and funded within minutes after you confirm a few personal details.

So, whether it's getting started on your renovation, a new car or that island getaway, ING can help you get there.

  • Not worth it unless you actually need a personal loan. And if you did you could probably get it cheaper elsewhere.

    • What do you mean you can get it cheaper?
You will get $300 profit even if you don't need this loan.
      What's wrong about it?

      • It costs you a credit check, you're better off getting a credit card. $300 profit is less than 30,000 Qantas or Velocity points.

        • But this is cash in hand not points which are not redeemable for cash.

          • @abc: Even redeeming the points for gift cards and then selling the gift card will net you way better results.

        • Hate to break it to you there are many who wouldn't think for 2 secs about getting 300 for a credit check.

          • @Pufff: Hate to break it to you, those people are leaving $$ on the table. They'd realise that if they could think for more than 2 secs.

    • It's more for the 'churners'. Seems to be streamlined if your financial details haven't changed in last 12 months.
