Krispy Kreme SA is owned by a separate entity (Peregrine Group) as parts of it were sold after going into voluntary administration in 2010.
Kinda sucks that Peregrine still wants to hold on to that small little bit they have, but I suppose it’s to prevent a monopoly on donuts.
Please note deals like this aren't fresh - they are pre-made and pre-packed before hand. I find the quality actually differ quite a bit from fresh - but it also might be that batch I got, who knows.
The only fresh donuts you get are the factory stores.
Even at the factory in Liverpool NSW where they have the red HOT doughnuts sign lit, they won't give you the fresh ones if you order online. You'll get pre-packaged ones where it's half melted.
I've asked for fresh ones instead before walking out the store and was refused.
Their excuse is "whats the point of ordering online if you get the fresh ones?"Because the online orders are already allocated to the customer so they can't just give you fresh ones because then they have to give yours to someone else. And the leftover fresh ones will become someone else's online order or sent to 7 11 the next day.

Quite a few comments from the deal I got it from says it can be frozen. Maybe not for 2 years though.. 😂
I froze some for first time last month. Didn't defrost them and put them straight in airfryer. Must have put them in there too long cuz they came out too soft lol. But otherwise taste nornal

I was just microwaving it. People swore it only needed 30seconds from frozen. But ofcourse that's dependent on the default power of the unit. Mine is around 25seconds but never gets to that nice (slightly crispy) texture.
I'll have to try it in the airfryer some time. How long did you put yours in for? I'm not sure of temp but I'm going to assume it probably doesn't need more than like a few minutes no? 😅
@WasBargain: I put them for about 1min 30sec reheating setting at 136C. Way too long lol. It came out too soft and fluffy. When I press down on it flattened into a pancake. But the taste was normal. I just added some ice cream and it was like pancake with ice cream lol.
I think 30sec should do depending on the setting of your air fryer I guess.
@Jared17: Yeah, we just put ice-cream when I warm it up so it's a little sugary hit after dinner.. 😋
