Sunbeam PB9800 Blender $200 at Myer Plus Free Scales, $30 Cashback and $16 Leftover on Giftcard

370

Myer have a combination of offers on this weekend which makes this blender a particularly good deal I feel.

The PB9800 is listed for $249 in myer but they have a $15 off per $75 spend which takes it to $204.
With the gift cards you can purchase $200 and recieve $220 which covers the cost of the blender and leaves $16 remaining.

They also have in store a deal for a free set of scales (their "value" is $69.95). These are the FS 7800 scales and they are in store, no redemption required.

Lastly Sunbeam have a $30 cashback for this particular model so the total is $200 outlay for a set of scales, the blender and $46 in vouchers/credit remaining. Plus you would accrue myer one points, for what they are worth.

Me to Sales assistant: "I see your price on this with this promotion comes down to $204, but Betta Electrical has it advertised for $229. Will you pricematch that?"

Sales Assistant: "We've been very busy here this morning Ma'am. Whatever it is that you're on, can I have some too please?"

Me: "So you won't price match?"

      Sales Assistant: "SECURITY!!!"

Love the sound of this combo deal. I just can't find confirmation anywhere of the $15 off per $75 spend that is current. Is it still valid? Also, I am guessing your reference to the gift card uplift was for a previously expired deal? Any help appreciated as I would like to jump on this deal tomorrow if I can! Cheers OP.

  • Sorry- can confirm all the details as I bought it today with gift cards purchased today, all in store. I didn't want to push my luck and price match as I figured they would argue its price was 204 not 249, which is true.

are the scales for this blender only, or any sunbeam product?
how would this compare to vitamix, any ideas?

  • Wouldn't personally spend that much on a blender but it's an awesome combination of deals!

  • I have a Sunbeam Multiblender Pro which is now like 89$ or something, fantastic for the money. HOWEVER - I sure as heck wouldn't pay $200 for their high end model. I'm under the impression from reviews they are pretty weak to be honest.
For only $100 more you can pick up the 3HP Omniblend which is very similar to the Vitamix. The thing is a beast, second only to 400 to 700$ blenders. I've been reading reviews and watching vidoes for a while on the thing, it's a genuinely good, high end home blender. Not quiet but will last a long time and will not slow down on anything.

    Long warranty too.
(Just google omniblend blender Australia) - they have a homepage and on ebay too.
