Just a little hesitant over this one, know that it's free but still..

    Clearly designed for mobile.
    No cards or achievements.
No updates since release 27 months ago.

This looks worse than most shovel ware.
Your life will be better for the microseconds saved not scrolling past it in your Steam Library every time you can't find an actual game to play.

For bonus points there's nothing stopping game creators embedding a trojan within them, no point grabbing free junk you wouldn't download and install from the Internet if it wasn't on Steam.

      • How’s that work? I find it hard to believe Steam wouldn’t have some sort of measures against this?

They run some automated tests like virus scans, but largely there’s not much they could do against a determined developer (without a massive and massively expensive QA apparatus to thoroughly manually check every one of the almost infinite game submissions and updates, at least).

The main protection is that it’s not that easy to publish on Steam without identifying yourself to Valve (increasing the difficulty of getting away with anything too illegal), and that if something did have a trojan there’s a hope that other people might notice and report it before you get to it.

@Sven Viking: That’s very interesting, but makes sense … only so much you could look out for. Wonder if this will be exploited someday.

@zubzub: I wouldn't be surprised if it's already happened and nobody knows. Even governments could be behind free shovelware games or buy a dying studio and patch spyware into existing sold games with updates. The US, Russia, China, Israel, Saudi Arabia, etc, many of them would love to spy on many people and apparently do have effective online spying techniques.

@CodeExplode: Yeah, honestly wouldn’t be surprised. I’ve been so paranoid lately with security, locking things down and using services like CloudFlare to ‘protect’ my services, even though they own all the keys. It almost comes down to just picking who you would think be the safest with stealing your data.

I completely agree with the above 2 posters, this one looks bad even for a free game.

Sorry everyone… on the other hand free is free. nah it's probably not worth the click.

This review comment from their steam page was worth the visit.

Well, to be perfectly honest, and in my humble opinion, without intending to offend anyone who might hold a different perspective, while also considering this matter from various angles, and without condemning anyone’s views but rather aiming for objectivity, and taking into account every valid opinion, I honestly believe I have nothing to say.

Too costly even at free. Has a whopping 13 reviews since releasing over 2 years ago.

I have logged over 1000 hours on this game and can honestly say, it's 11/10.

  • Much like most of the "this game is transitioning to paid in the future maybe" deals - free trash is still trash.
