eSIM for Churning

Currently with boost, runs out in two hours.

Need something to churn to rather quickly so a discounted physical boost Sim can arrive.

    Thanks all

I have tried amaysim. It's the worst experience ever.

Because of an old account I got stuck in an endless cycle of:
    1. Log in to purchase
    2. You're logged in. You don't have an active service. You can't do anything useful from here, including buy a service.
    3. Rinse and repeat.

I had to set up a dud email address and new account to get past this.

Then I've tried to activate using the QR code. It sat there for ages. Not sure if it worked, waiting to see. Yet I seem to have amaysim on the phone (this phone has never had an amaysim service, although possibly it was settings transferred over from a much older phone?). However I chose to transfer my number and the amaysim number showing on my phone is not my number. The purchase email from amaysim clearly references the number I'm trying to transfer, so I definitely completed checkout correctly.

This stupid login loop is an embarrassing indication of complete amaysim incompetence.

I'm just crossing my fingers when Boost goes down shortly that amaysim will be working properly

If your number fails to port because your plan expires (which is possible), you may need to top up your boost to a cheap $12 28 day plan, then try the port again…

You really shouldn't leave these things till the last minute…

Their online help is usually pretty good, but it's probably out of hours now…

It's actually my partner's phone, I just didn't put that in the description coz too many words. I'm working with what I've got

  • I had similar situation last week when my Boost data ran out earlier than my 12m, signed up to felix using FELIX10 for 3 months of $10/month (25gb)
    They have esim option

  • I did this recently. Ported to a $2 Telstra sim from HN, I'd recommend doing that next time. They've got one of the fastest porting systems around on the backend

    • Then might as well go to Everyday Mobile and get the 10% off your shopping… Telstra do all the backend work.

      • It’s only to port out and churn to another provider though. Also I just heard new customers to Woolworths Mobile can’t get the 10% off unless they pay something per month.
