It's the greatest and most accurate prediction/self fulfilling prophecy and I can't be swayed otherwise.
NaCl probably the cheapest, most abundant, electrolyte on the planet.
It's also not much use in isolation for anyone needing electrolytes.

Pocari- tastes great, but that's because of all the added sugar and MSG.
It's basically sugar water marketed as an exercise drink, just like Gatorade.
It's available in boxed powdered form, otherwise it's just as expensive (and as healthy for you) as Coke.

ESP - as you mentioned about making your own !!!If due to exercise/gym/mining-FIFO …
Most probable sign that need electrolytes == salt crystals forming on forehead due to sweat == then yes 100%If due to drinking/vomiting/etc == another use (but try to fix actual causes to problems).
Else … Electrolytes probably aren't going to help you much (if at all) … Mate at EX work - used to mix 3x electrolyte powder into a 1L water bottle … Did this 2-3 times a day EVERY day.
He mainly did this - because he didn't like drinking "plain" water …it was mainly for the taste.
Anyway, side-tracked alittle.
Yes just due to exercise.
