Front Loader Auto Dosing Detergent Recommendations

Hi All,

Recently purchased one of the auto dose i-Dos bosch front loaders and can't seem to find conclusive recommendations on the best fluid to use for the machine.

All I've read in the manual is that it needs to be self flowing and when speaking to Bosch AU directly they said not to use OMO…

Just wondering what people are using in their LG/Bosch/Samsung units as I've heard these units can be somewhat sensitive!

    Bosch and OMO have been promoting each other for years, so their response to you is contradictory. I've been using OMO with IDOS for about 6 months, no problems noted so far.

      Any particular front loader fluid the ultimate range or anything specific ?

        We use OMO Sensitive, haven't tried their other variants.

    Have a Bosch IDOS and using OMO Sensitive since new, no issues to report.

    Been using OMO Sensitive in my Bosch, no issues.

    You can adjust the amount in ml it doses by press and holding the dose button.

    Also don't mix up the icons for dosing, bottom is washing liquid, top is softener.

    I have idos and just launch anything into it, haven't had any issues.

    I use (mostly) cold power with my Samsung. No issues.

    Been using mainly whatever the Aldi one is, Bosch model since late 2020. Set both dosing locations for washing as don’t use softener. No apparent problems yet.
