Receive ~150 Bonus Qantas Points for Completing Health, Car and Home Check-Ups on The Qantas Wellbeing App @ Qantas

100

So hopefully this is in the right spot but i figured points have a monetary value so i'll put it here. I'm also not sure if this is individual or not but I just noticed that the Check-Up section on my Qantas app has reset and this time you can get about 150 QFF points for spending a few minutes doing their health, car and home check-ups.
There are 13 sections which each take a few seconds to do. Unless of course you take it seriously and want accurate data then….?

    $1.50 worth

Hardly worth the effort, but can be helpful to extend expiry

True, but also $150 of spend (typically) to get those points. I figured someone might get a benefit. I did. I think it's better to post and let people choose than not post at all.

  • Not seeing anything called Check-Up - where in the app is this?

Title needs to be changed, it's in the Qantas Wellbeing app.

Would this count to refreshing points that are about to expire?

    • +2

Points only expire after 12 months of inactivity on the account. Any points (including from the Wellbeing app) inbound to your QFF account will keep all your points active.

As mentioned already, the real hack here is installing this on your wife's phone and setting up the steps goal.

I run credit cards through her name every year and recently lost over 150k points as I forgot to transfer to me.

This app means there is a trickle of points that go to her ff account keeping all the points valid until I remember to move them across to me.

    • I'm not sure if you're aware but they will reinstate expired points occasionally if you agree to earn a certain number of points within 90 days

      • Yes she called up and got on a plan like that and we got them back.

So I have to install some fitness tracker thing and set up an activity challenge?

    • Nope, just allow either Apple Health or Google Fit (or whatever Android uses) to access your step count. Set and forget, let the points roll in.

    Jesus this app is patronising!

  • I think there’s an additional 150 points if you sign up through a referral too.

I have the Wellbeing App purely as my way to keep my points from expiring. I might only get 0.5 points per day but if my points stay alive because of it, it's worth it.

    • How much data and battery does it use though…

  • Same I use the app to keep my points plus it earns points passively. I have about 2300 points from the app over the last few years. I referred my partner and she got bonus points for completing the challenges that were 10x the amount I was being offered. So worth getting a referral and then doing the challenges straight away.

Only if we could add our referrals here on ozbargain
